Uncover the mysteries of volcanism

2h30 PM: guided tour of Lemptégy's volcano.

Discover a volcano seen from the inside, a site entirely natural unique in Europe. You can visit Lemptégy’s volcano by feet or by little train.

You will begin the day by seeing a documentary film. Then you will enter in the heart of the volcano. A passionate presenter will guide you in the depths of the volcano, after the discovery of a dashing panoramic view.

You will end the walkthrough by the “Mine Explosive” (explodive mine), our dynamic 4 dimensions animations. Lasts around 2h30.

New in 2007: « L’Ame de Lemptégy » (Lemptégy’s soul) opens. You will enter in a zone which was closed to visitors since World War 2. This place will enable you to understand Lemptégy’s industrial past.
