Location and description of the site
Located in the heart of Volvic, close to Clermont-Ferrand, la Maison de la Pierre will open from February, 10 to November, 11 in 2008.
Offered missions
At the level of this site reopening, several missions can be given to students:
- - Management of the reception and the shop of la Maison de la Pierre with the use of specific softwares. Setting up of the shop (from February onwards).
- - Guiding at the end of each walkthrough centred on the history of la Maison de la Pierre until now and the heritage linked with its use (15 minutes for each group).
- - Participation to communication actions (monitoring of satisfaction surveys, monitoring of files, canvassing of bus companies).
- - Setting up of displays about the stone crafts.
- - Creations of bases meant to improve the quality of reception.
